Ayo again! Bootiful Bo is back, and this announcement is a lot more fun than the last one was!

Info
Recently, I removed our “culture” tab from the top navigation. But it is in my belief that it’s best to utilize all five navigation levels whenever possible, and so I asked you all for new ideas to put in the empty level. And, I’ll be honest, I didn’t think any of (three ideas) them would work efficiently.
Most of the (three ideas) proposals were directly or indirectly community-based. Cadbiza’s reply was also pretty inspiring. But community-based in ways that wouldn’t be very effective for whatever reason.
I brainstormed, which isn’t something my small brain can do very often… As a community, we could nominate less-known genders (microlabels), and vote on which one’s we’d like to add to the vacant navigation level. It’d work - you guys would hopefully like the community inclusion, and the genders would also be valuable to our readers. It would also benefit their coiners, by setting their terms center-stage. And you guys liked the idea! Bi ve candy suggested we call it “spotlighted genders” (although I ultimately decided on “spotlight genders”). And while I don’t think that was their intention, that’s actually a very Fandom-based name, considering the Fandom Spotlights program (rip).
And so, here I am, one month later, introducing Spotlight Genders!
Here’s how it works:
Every three weeks our community will have a four-day period to nominate genders/gender systems/neo-AGABs/other gender labels. Following that, we will have a three-day period to vote for the genders to add to the nav bar (You can nominate six genders per round).
Each set of genders will be present on the nav bar for three weeks. The next cycle of nomination and voting will proceed after those three weeks.
Eight genders will be spotlighted at one time.
When voting for genders, each user should vote for their top six genders.
The top eight genders with the most votes will be added to the navigation bar.
Rules for nominating genders:
They must already have a page on this wiki/you must add the page before you nominate them;
The page must be formatted correctly, and have proper references. It should be "complete" or somewhere close to that (but there is always room for improvement!).
It would be best to avoid nominating genders that are related to topics some people may find triggering (ex (TW): blood, gore), but you are still allowed to nominate them.
Ideally, the genders you nominate already have a flag that is on their page.
Please do not nominate more than six genders per round. You do not have to nominate six, that is just the maximum.
We are nominating genders, gender systems, neo-AGABS, or other gender labels. You cannot nominate orientations, such as “lesbian,” or terms that surround gender, such as “dysphoria" or "neopronouns."
You are allowed to nominate a gender system as a whole, or an individual gender in it.
Try to avoid nominating very broad terms (such as “non-binary” or “transgender”). A big point in this is too let less-known genders shine;
Nominating “cisgender” “gender binary” or anything similar isn’t allowed.
I’ll add more to this section if other topics come up!
Notes:
You are more than welcome to nominate the same gender multiple times in a row.
You are allowed to nominate the same gender(s) as another user. But keep in mind that multiple users nominating the same gender(s) doesn't count towards the voting.
You cannot/should not use alternate accounts to vote for a gender(s) multiple times.
If a gender system is voted to be on the nav bar, the individual genders will not be listed, but will just have a link to its page.
You may vote on a gender based on whatever preference you have. Maybe you really like the definition, really like the flag, want to support the coiner, or something else! The “why this gender?” can be anything. And you don’t have to tell us your “why” either :D
There is no “prize” for nominating a gender or having a gender you nominated added to the nav bar.
I'll add more to this section if other topics come up!
IMPORTANT NOTE!
Our first cycle of voting genders will start this coming Monday! Prepare yourselves.

That's all for today! As always, make sure to reply with any questions, or ask them on my wall. Have a great day everyone!
