I stand by what I said because if you put the warning at the top and bottom of it

A) if your triggered by it you still have to scroll past to see other replies

B) it makes it more difficult to find other replies

This is just talking about sensory stuff keep in mind other things need to be talked about in this thread besides that

I think it's just best to avoid using triggers as much as possible, anywhere (except vents/rants ofc), but that's not really helpful for this

Some vents/rants are on-topic, and others aren't on-topic. But that category will always overrule use of other categories, meaning that all vents and rants belong in the vents/rants category, regardless of whether or not they're high-quality or low-quality. :D

I think potentially triggering topics should go in their own weekly collection threads with a trigger warning at the top. For content that should have a sensory warning that is a bigger topic about what the policy should be for that kind of content in the middle of threads. Because yes, users will have to scroll pass. It might actually be a bigger topic just our wiki because it might require new tech from fandom to mark and hide the content from users sensitive to it.

^ i disagree with this first part because then if your triggered by something and it's talked about there's no proper warning because it'll take you straight to the bottom.

@AilenWasTaken I am not very active on discussions so am I missing something about how they work. I am suggesting they have a separate collection thread with trigger warnings at the top like any high quality potentially triggering content.

Or are you worried about issues that aren't handled by that solution, like new triggering content not covered by the trigger warning that was present at the top when the thread was started?
