Yeah, I can see how that would be confusing.

That is a xenogender.

Xenogenders are when your gender is related to more of like a concept rather than what is in seen in the western society like masculine and feminine or neutral.

That one specifically is a -charic, which means that somebody’s gender identity feels like it relates to that character, or is similar to the things that were listed on the page, like feeling ominous.

They don’t genuinely believe themselves to /be/ that character, they just feel like their gender identity /feels/ like that character.

So can you make xenogenders?

Absolutely! You can make any gender you want, even if it feels masculine or feminine or whatever. You just have to make sure it isn’t similar or the exact same to another gender name or page on here.

you also have to make a coining post, but you can just figure out what a coining post is when you just look at the discussion tab a little bit.

also, I advise you to look around a bit, and do research before you make any gender, because there are some that would be sort of offensive for you to make, like one about mental or physical disorders/disabilities if you don’t actually have that disorder/disabilities. That could be seen as sort of rude.

But anyway, just have fun with it! genders shouldn't be something that’s gatekeeped it should be something that’s explored and appreciated for being unique!
