i dislike how the majority of trans flags are really focused on being "born female/male", which is exclusionary to intersex people and also can make a lot of people (including myself) dysphoric and uncomfortable to have your flag focus on something that misgenders you. i like the four-stripe flags, but i also find them a bit boring and not really encompassing of all trans people since theyre just pink for girls and blue for boys with no other meaning. no insult to people who like other flags ofc, theyre just not for me. so i made some of my own!
first, the transmasc flag: the purple represents androgynous-leaning transmascs, the blue stripe represents transmascs with a strong connection to maleness and/or masculinity, the light blue represents transmascs with a less strong connection to maleness and/or masculinity who are still transmasc, the white represents transmascs of all genders and presentations all still being transmasc, and the green represents neutral-leaning transmascs.
second, the transfem flag: the red-pink represents androgynous-leaning transfems, the light red stripe represents transfems with a strong connection to femaleness and/or femininity, the light red-orange represents transfems with a less strong connection to femaleness and/or femininity who are still transfems, the white represents transfems of all genders and presentations all still being transfems, and the green represents neutral-leaning transfems.
third, the transneutral flag: the orange represents feminine-leaning transneutrals, the yellow-orange stripe represents transneutrals with a strong connection to neutrality, the light yellow represents transneutrals with a less strong connection to neutrality who are still transneutral, the white represents transneutrals of all genders and presentations all still being transneutral, and the green represents masculine-leaning transneutrals.
finally, the transandrogynous flag: the warm purple represents feminine-leaning transandrogynouses, the purple stripe represents transandrogynouses with a strong connection to androgynousness, the light purple represents transandrogynouses with a less strong connection to androgynousness who are still transandrogynous, the white represents transandrogynouses of all genders and presentations all still being transandrogynous, and the green represents masculine-leaning transandrogynouses.
