<im:0> Okay so, "im:ug" stands for "inner monologue: unnamed guy". I often have an IM, and the voice switches based on my mood. If I did this for communication, I'd just outright state my mood, (right now I'm calm), but I only do this so that when I go back to read my posts, I get emotional memory and better understand why I made these kinds of posts.

Basically, you ever read an old post and went "what was young me thinking?" I'm trying to prevent that by indirectly stating my mood in a way future me will understand (because I had emotional IMs for a while) but that most members won't understand.

It sounds crazy but, this is what being a neurodivergent roleplayer and writer is like.

But in all seriousness what does "neurodivergent roleplayer and writer is like." mean?

Basically, what I tried to say is, if you're a roleplay/writer, or you're neurodivergent, you tend to have inner monologues that sound like specific characters or people. Roleplayers and writers have many characters to tackle, and neurodivergent experiences are various, so I'll just take myself as an example. I have autism, and I often watch movies and stuff to learn how to act. I subconsciously learn from mean and melodramatic characters as well, so... the reason I was super mean this weekend was because I felt like acting like meanie ENA was an exemplary way to vent out your issues but, I learned in the hard way that it wasn't.

I'm a writer, and have been for over 10 years, but I'm not sure if I feel like that...

If you don't give your characters voice claims you're less likely to experience this. But of course it's not limited to inner monologue that sounds like fictional characters, you can still have unique brain quirks, such as hyperphantasia.

I give my characters voices, but more often than not its just some variation of my voice.
