Also also you don't need to clarify reasoning if you don't want to (however do note if we see a lot them towards one person staff might ask why to see if a block or something is in order) but if your sending one to like everyone here we will ask why. Then as a third thing (last I promise) please only use this as a last resort. Im NOT saying this to deter anybody but please try to work things out first. if there's just one person that really gets on your nerves and you argue a lot go ahead and use this. That's fine this here to help avoid drama but if someone just mildly annoys you please just try to just work through it.

Idk how to feel about this. I've only put a dni on like 2 specific people ever but on another wiki I'm on DNIs are well moderated and there's a lot of people with new posts like every minute. Maybe there could be a mod who pays more of their attention to the social activity thing and looks for messages that say "dni" and there could be like. A list of them within the moderator circle and they could keep track of it and see if anyone breaks someone else's dni

-For the first thing personally I think this system is going to work just fine. My thing is that it would be very easy to miss one.

-For the second thing I really like that idea and will bring it up to staff.

I think instead of issuing DNIS to other users we could take "breaks" instead, where we go to another user who we don't feel comfortable around ATM and say, "look, we've been having a lot of arguments/problems lately, I think we should just take a break from each other for the time being and maybe in a month or two we could reconnect and try to fix these issues we've been having so it all boils over." I think that would be a lot kinder than DNIS and will leave the discussion open to respect and questions instead of just saying, "you have a dni now, don't comment on my posts or reply to this message now," which doesn't generate the kindest atmosphere.

^^^ I’m sure things can be arranged for, let’s say the victim user wants to reach out to the restricted user to talk things out, vice versa
