my one "problem" (not a big one) is the fact that you say children shouldn't be taught about it in a young age, and i want to stress that what i am saying is a point and not targeted aggressively
at a young age, children are pretty nice and aren't really afraid of change. if they were taught in school about non-binary genders as well as male and female, that would greatly help give them an understanding and could help prevent discrimination against members of the non-binary community, as a majority of discrimination stems from being afraid of change or finding something "wrong" or "against their upbringing", but if children were taught about the concept of being transgender or non-binary at a young age, when the children are more gullible (i do not mean lie to them) and will accept things more easily, then they will grow up being used to the concept of being transgender and won't have problems with it in older age, helping prevent discrimination
children do not need to be taught about how others discriminate against transgenders and what has happened in the past, but it must be explained to them that discrimination is wrong, and not going too deep into dysphoria or operations would also be required so as to not scare the children, but teaching them from a young age what being transgender is and that it is normal can greatly help relieve suppression of gender expression, and help prevent discrimination.
