I went to the store with my little brother and when we got to there, he opened the door and said, "Men first." I said, "Thank you." And he said it's not an insult to say that to me because "[I’m] both", meaning I’m both a man and a woman, and then corrected himself and said, "I mean you ACT like both." So my severely queerphobic brother inadvertently affirmed my non-binary gender.
