Anything to do with identity makes me feel numb. It feels like I'm trying to fill a bottomless pit. Like I'm trying to find the lost pieces of an infinitely shattered self. I can't take it anymore. I don't even know my name anymore. I don't even know if my pronouns are right. None of this makes me feel anything anymore. I hate myself. I should've never joined this wiki. I still love you all

Can we help me with my friend? She is looking for her gender identity but afraid and too shy to asking it by herself, So I want to try to do this instead of her but accross her name!

She is afab and in general feels comfort with fem gender, used to use she/her pronouns although doesn't mind about neutral or he/him (also she using it in her little comfort web-bubble) but says it doesn't mean that she feel herself as enby/agender or male/masc! Her style based on more neutral or a little masc vibe than femme, but slightly femme elegance is ok. She would like to be a little more neutral [androgynous] in her look and behaviour but not so much. Kind of between female and neutral like half-girl half-neutral and she says she feel herself like "I am kind of 60% fem, 30% neutral, 10% masc...maybe".

Welp, If I can ask like this — can you help me to help her? Which gender terms can be suit to her? She prefers to use queer person label now but not sure it's completely suits and reflect her...

I'm not good in terms although I'm lgbtqia+ member a long time so I'm not sure I can completely help her! I offered "gender nonconforming female", "queer" or maybe "queer female" or "demigirl" but she is not sure about it except queer\gener-nonconforming probably could be good variant ~~~

How exactly coining a gender works? I remember someone made a post with the same question, but I don't remember the replies... (Sorry if it sounds dumb, but I'm just curious.)

Happy 6k pages, everyone! I’ll do exactly what the title says. Mostly, characters that may share the palettes and concepts of a gender’s pride flags and definitions. This’ll be funnnn! Heh heh.

How to request ; Just let me know what gender or genders you want to be designed after - you can request more than one, both simultaneously or separately. If necessary, specify what individual flag(s) you want referenced when requesting. Please specify if you want either human / humanoid, anthro / furry, or feral / animal design(s). Also specify if you’d like some sort of storyline or personality to them. I can write a little something! You may also choose the pronouns for the character, but this is optional.

These designs will be free to draw and use for any non-hateful and non-destructive reason { and with credit }, but ultimately will belong to me - so it’s easier for myself to manage these designs. I would make them fully belong to the requester, but I don’t know if everyone who requests will actually want to own and use the design for themselves, nor will I be able to track what happens to these designs. Thus, it’s just easier if I own them myself.

This is just being done for fun and for representation, as well as a nice celebration to the 6,000+ pages on the wiki!

So I'm a smol bit goofy but here's what I think about the matter:

Gender isn't a spectrum. I find it too confusing as that, probably because I'm hyperfluid and have 75 other labels.

Gender is like a puzzle. You're given a small puzzle at birth, and you're told what all the pieces are "meant" to be and what they show. That's your AGAB. Some people leave it like that, and some don't. Some people reimagine what the puzzle is an image of, and some people realise that you can get this printer that makes pieces and then you realise that the puzzle you were given isn't to your liking, so you make a new one, and sometimes you slightly change the puzzle so that it works better, sometimes you get inspiration for what kind of a puzzle piece you want to make from another source, and sometimes you get a new idea. The puzzle can be as big as you want it to, or as small, and it can change however much you want it to.

So yeah that's how I perceive gender and there's probably more to it idk my mind only functions half the time :3
