Perifluid

The original definition on the page was: “Perifluid is a form of genderfluidity in which one is fluid between man, man-aligned, masculine genders, woman, woman-aligned, and/or feminine genders. This may include man, woman, miaspec genders, fiaspec genders, demiboy, demigirl, bigender, androgyne, etc. It does not include agender, neutral genders, and abinary genders. However, it can include agiaspec and/or niaspec genders if they encompass manhood and/or womanhood.”

But the updated def is: “Perifluid is a genderfluid identity in which one is fluid between mingenders, fingenders, genderlessness, and/or neutral genders.”

Can I still be perifluid even if I experience genders that are abinary (like completely neutral and completely genderless), or is this something else and I've gaslighted myself into liking this label?

What is a gender identity that is fluid between boy-aligned genders, neutral genders, genderless genders, and occasionally feminine-aligned (not female, *feminine*) genders?

Gender Identity

• Agender — Lack of gender or minimal gender experience, encompassing various descriptors such as genderless, gender-neutral, or neutrally gendered.

• Azurgirl — Someone who identifies as a girl or woman but also has a strong masculine aspect to their gender identity or expression.

• Demiboy — Someone who feels partially male and partially another gender.

• Demigirl — Someone who feels partially female and partially another gender.

• Doxigender — One who predominantly identifies as male, partially as female, and to a lesser extent as non-binary.

• Endoboy — One's sense of being male or masculine fluctuates alongside other gender identities.

• Fluidflux — A gender experience that fluctuates both in identity (from one gender to another or to none) and intensity (from full to partial gender feelings).

• Genderfluid — Where one's gender varies over time.

Pronouns

I use the following pronoun sets (listed from most to least favorite):

• Faunpronominal — When someone feels comfortable with traditionally masculine and neutral pronouns, possibly using neopronouns too.

• Correfluid — Someone whose pronouns always match their current gender identity.

• Panpronominal — Embracing all pronouns, including standard sets and neopronouns, expressing active identification with any pronoun while possibly maintaining preferences among them.

Just so you know, I'm cool with all pronouns. My pronouns tend to shift from day to day, just like my gender! So, if you're unsure about what pronouns to use on a particular day, don't hesitate to ask me!

Other Labels

• Aemotional — People who don't feel emotional attraction, meaning they don't experience romantic, platonic, or other types of emotional connections, and might engage in those activities without feeling emotions.

• Agamous — Choosing not to be in relationships or get married.

• Analterous — Not feeling attraction towards others, even though someone might still form close emotional bonds or relationships.

• Androgyne — Both masculine and feminine, or somewhere in between.

• Ficto-Partnering — Forming relationships with fictional characters.

• Freedressing — Wearing clothes without worrying about if they're for boys or girls.

• Libidoist — Someone who has a strong desire for sexual activity, regardless of their sexual orientation.

• Non-partnering — Someone who doesn't want a big partnership with others.

• Omniafluid — Being flexible in how you identify with pronouns, names, and expression, regardless of your gender.

• Omniaspec — A-spec for every single type of orientations/attractions.

• Omnimspec — People who are attracted to more than one gender in all aspects of their orientations/attractions.

• Omnomi — Where one is omni- in all of their orientations/attractions.

• Soft Romo — A relationship where there's some romantic feelings or actions, but not as intense as in regular romantic relationships, often happening when one person is romantically interested and the other isn't, or when there are changing levels of attraction or comfort with romantic stuff.

• Fluitic — Unsure about their attraction or desires, especially when it keeps changing.

• Greyrose — A person that is both greyromantic and greyasexual.

TL;DR

I identify as (SIMPLIFIED): Nomifluid (whatever I sign off as), Doxigender, Perifluid, Androgynous, Fidelityflux, Omniaspec, Omnomi, Greyrose, Minic, and Faunpronominal (or whatever I sign off as).

I think I’ve narrowed my labels down pretty well! Perifluid, aurorian, monoflexible, greyromantic, idemromantic, bisexual, aplatonic, demisensual, and panpronominal. Or, in 2 labels, Omnibi and Aroace.

All of my attraction is towards 2 or more genders, and I have a ton of labels that are on the a-spec.

Greyrose is a term that refers to a person that is both greyromantic and greyasexual. Greyrose was chosen due to it being easier to say, and to give a more distinct identity to those who are strictly grey-oriented.

Also, Omnibi is an identity where one is bi- in all of their orientations. This means that they are bisexual, biromantic, biplatonic, bisensual, etc. They do not experience non-bi- attraction in any of their orientations, meaning that in all forms of attraction, they are attracted to at least two genders. This can also apply to my gender. I primarily experience the MIN (masculine in nature) and FIN (feminine in nature) genders.

I love perifluid, greyrose, and omnibi! This is what I am! I’ve narrowed it down so much, and it makes me feel happy. I love this for right now, at least.

The most that I can say is that in all of my identities, I am either m-spec or a-spec.

I care more about my sexuality than I do about my gender. I know I'm genderfluid between man and woman, agender/genderless/gendervoid, non-binary, and pangender. End of story.

My sexuality is just *so* confusing, like I like all genders but also *only* boys and girls. It's like I'm bisexual and pansexual at the same time. I mainly just go with bisexual since it means 2+, and I'm fine with that.

But my romantic/other orientations are what make me mad; I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. I like greyromanitc, but it's just loose and fits all terms. I both do and don't experience romantic attraction. It's just so confusing and makes me mad that I can't find the perfect label and stuff.

This feels like there are too many labels. But I’m unsure how to narrow this down without causing me dysphoria.

I feel like my base gender would be nothing, really. Like a blank canvas. My other gendered feelings don't paint over this blank feeling; they just add to it. I feel somewhat like a woman, but I also feel very masculine. Doing girly things just makes me feel weird in a bad way. I like painting my nails and buying clothes, but I paint my nails black or blue because it feels more manly, and I like sweats, jeans, leggings, and hoodies. Growing up, around six to nine years old, I was so strongly connected to masculinity that I believed I was a boy or wished that I was born a boy (I'm AFAB BTWs). I told my mom about it, which was a very bad idea because she yelled at me and told me that I was born a female, so I'm a girl and nothing else. I started to have identity issues after that. I didn't know what I was; I just knew I was not happy and safe with what I was meant to be (a cishet female).

I'm comfortable in my AFAB body, so I wouldn't want to transition to a boy. My gender sometimes changes; some days I feel like a boy, girl, neutral, nothing at all, sometimes I even feel xenic-aligned. But sometimes I can change in the middle of or throughout the day. It isn't really on a schedule or anything. My gender feels somewhat like building blocks; each gender is a different block, and I changed between those blocks. When I change between genders, sometimes it's like I'm not fully that gender. A simple example, sometimes I feel masculine but I don't feel like a man, or I feel like a girl but not feminine.

I've tried experimenting with different labels, but a lot of them don't really capture how I feel deep down. 

Sorry if this all seems super easy to solve. I was born and raised in a conservative Christian family, so I don't really know anything other than the stuff I find online, and most of it I don't really understand. Sorry…
