-Lexic is the suffix used to end genders that relate to specific words, for example treatlexic. Not all genders that end in -lexic are lexegenders as lexegenders are exclusive to neurodivergent individuals while the -lexic suffix is not.
History[]
It is unknown when -lexic was coined or who coined it. The suffix appears to have came into usage sometime in 2021, however there appears to be no true coining post, and instead it is believed that one blog simply started using it and others also decided to.
Some incorrectly credit the coining of -lexic to an anonymous ask on the Tumblr blog neopronouns, however the source for this, while mentioning -lexic as a potential suffix, is for a unrelated concept that appears to eventually use the suffix -lexicon instead.[2]
