Agenderflux is a gender identity in which one is agender, and fluctuates between different gender identities. Agenderflux is similar to agender and libragender, and is a subset of genderflux.

History[]

This term was coined by Tumblr user vulturestag on July 31st, 2014.[1]

Flag[]

The agenderflux flag was created by an unknown user. The black and white represent a lack of gender, and the grey represents being semi-gendered. These colours are inspired by the agender flag. The centre gradient represents being fluid between different gender identities.

The 2nd agenderflux flag was created by Tumblr user divineshaymin on July 31st, 2014. The Venn Diagram in the middle represents the fluctuations between masculinity and femininity, the grey in the centre represents agender, the blue and pink on the sides also represent masculinity and femininity, and the gradients in the pink and blue represents the fluctuations one experiences as a result of agenderflux.[1]

An alternative agenderflux flag was created by Reddit user It-Is-I-Username on June 19th, 2020. The black represents absence of colour in terms of light, the white represents absence of colour in terms of pigment, the orange represents femininity, the green represents masculinity, and the yellow represents a combination of femininity and masculinity.[1][2]

Another alternative agenderflux flag was made by FANDOM Wiki user CMH.Kat on February 13th, 2022. The black represents lack of gender, the grey represents slight neutral variations, the blue, being masculine, and pink, being feminine, represents slight gendered variations.[3]
