Aliagender flag
Aliagender is a gender identity that stands apart from any male, female, or neutral gender, absence of gender, or another aligned gender. Aliagender stands completely apart from any other gender, and is similar to aporagender and maverique.

This term was coined in 2014.

- Aporagender is a specific nonbinary gender identity and umbrella term for "a gender separate from male, female, and anything in between (unlike Androgyne) while still having a very strong and specific gendered feeling" (that is, not an absence of gender or agender).
- Maverique is another nonbinary gender identity characterized by "autonomy and inner conviction regarding a sense of self that is entirely independent of male/masculinity, female/femininity or anything which derives from the two while still being neither without gender nor of a neutral gender."
