Confusiogender Flag by SpacedOutRosie

Confusiogender is a gender identity in which one's gender is difficult to understand, typically coming from the the inability to comprehend or encapsulate one's own gender, sometimes due to neurodivergence.

This term can also be applied to those who have difficulty understanding their own gender due to the intricacy or depth of it, sometimes because of neurodivergence.

Flag[]

The confusiogender flag was created by FANDOM user SpacedOutRosie around June 7, 2022.

The three stripes, blue green and pink, in the middle of the flag represent masculinity, neutrality or otherness, and femininity, respectively. They are all included and are layered together so as to encompass all people who are confused about their genders. White stripes surround the gender stripes, and effectively represent a barrier or separation between one's understanding of their gender and their gender itself. Grey is for the uncertainty and vagueness of one's gender. Yellow represents the confusion and possible alarm felt by not understanding one's gender. it is on the outside the three center stripes to signify the separation of one's gender from their understanding of it. the color is also a callback to the non-binary flag. Thin black or grey lines may be added next to the outside edges of the gender stripes to further emphasize a mental separation.
