Daimogender is a gender identity in which ones gender can only be described as feeling closely related to demons and the supernatural. Daimogender is classified as a mythologender. This label is not exclusively for demonkin, however those who tend to use this label are often involved in supernatural related practices.

Etymology[]
The prefix "daimo-" comes from the word "daimon," which was the original Greek word for "demon".
History[]
Daimogender was coined on August 25th, 2014, by an anonymous Tumblr user. The original definition being "when you feel your gender is closely related to demons or the supernatural. this is not exclusively for demonkin, though if anyone uses it, i [the coiner] would like them to be involved in supernatural things. a person does not require dysphoria to be daimogender." [3]
The original flag was created around September 11th, 2015, by an unknown user.[1] The second flag was created on October 16th, 2015, by Pride-Flags on DeviantArt.[4]
On November 6th, 2021, user mossyfaeboy on Reddit had a new alternative flag for daimogender.[5][6]
On December 9, 2022 BitzOfPuzzelPeices created a symbol for the term.[7]
Flags[]
The original flag by the unknown user is the black to dark gray to darkish gray back to the other two colors. There is a red skull with horns in the center to represent the undead and demonic. Its unclear if the colors have any particular meaning.
The alternative flag by Pride-Flags on DeviantArt utilizes a similar color scheme to the original. It contains black, to dark gray to medium gray to red and back. The red is a thinner stripe compared to the others. There is no meaning assigned to these colors.
The second alternative flag, by mossyfaeboy on Reddit, expands upon the original ideas of the other two. The colors go from black to medium gray to semi-light gray to white to black to red and back again. There is gray bat wings and red horns in the center to represent the demonic. Since the original post was deleted, it is unclear if there were any meaning behind the coloration or not.

The symbol was created by Fandom user BitzOfPuzzelPeices. It was inspired by the gender/asab symbols but with bat wings and a tail. It was to give it a more demonic feel to it.
