A demimaverique is a demigender identity describing someone who partially identifies as partly maverique and partly something else. The other part tends to be another non-binary gender (like agender, genderqueer, xenogenders, and etc), but doesn't have to be.
History[]
The original term, maverique, is a gender identity that is similar to neutrois and aporagender (but is not the same). Maverique was coined by Vesper H. on Tumblr (May 31, 2014). They had posted it to their blog, Queer as Cat, after they found themself dissatisfied with the term neutrois.[1] The definition of the original term is "a non-binary gender characterized by internal sense of self. A feeling of a sense of gender which is completely independent of conventional ideas of gender."[2]
Demimaverique's coinage is a bit of a mystery however. One day it just surfaced and was here ever sense.
