Dyadic is a word used to refer to people who are not intersex.[2] Dyadic people were born with sex characteristics which could be categorized into one of the binary genders.
Similar to the term cisgender, it was created to avoid referring to non-intersex people as "normal/natural," which implies that intersex people are not normal/natural, which many members of the intersex community take offense at.
