Eugender, pronounced "ev-gender" or "ef-gender," is an umbrella term for any absolute, affirmative gender. It is a positive and certain gender experience, where one is certain that they are a given gender. It is also useful for some individuals to define a given pair of genders as an eugender-antigender pair within their gender experience.
Generally the eu- prefix is not necessary, as most genders without the anti- prefix can be assumed to be a eugender (in the same way numbers usually do not have to be specified as being positive), but it can be helpful to specify in some situations. For example, girl (or eugirl) would be the eugender of antigirl. (This may be especially helpful in cendgender or similar genders.)
Eugender is the opposite of antigender.
Etymology[]
The prefix "eu-" comes from the Greek word εὖ, meaning “well” or “true”.
