Bigenderflux is a term under the multiflux umbrella that describes those who experience two separate genders but both genders fluctuate in intensity. This can occur in multiple ways, such as:
- Both genders could fluctuate in intensity at the same time.
- As one gender becomes more intense, the other gender becomes faint.
- The two genders fluctuate at random, completely unrelated to each other.
A subset of bigenderflux is birlflux and bifluidflux.
History[]
On January 15th, 2015, an anonymous Tumblr user asked if bigenderflux was a thing. The blog owner who was asked this mentioned they thought they heard it somewhere. No real coinage date exists but it has at least existed since then.[2]
On January 13th, 2018, beau-is-gai made the bigenderflux flag.[1]
On October 19th, 2020, VoxelDraqon made their own bigenderflux flag.[3]
On January 19th, 2021, 25Volarsleet made an alternative flag.[4] On March 12th, MaxTheTransGuy made a flag for bigenderflux too.[5] Then on the 30th, BlueJayDragon2000 did so as well.[6] The on September 11th, Enbysapphics created an alternative flag too.[7]
