Genderlune is a gender identity with two definitions:
- A xenogender identity in which one’s gender is "related to the moon itself...The relationship can be aesthetic, spiritual, or of any nature that one experiences." This gender is not based on moon phases or time of day. [1]
- A xenogender identity in which one’s gender "is dark and cold like nighttime, with a subtle underlying feeling of a vast starry sky."
