Monogender is a descriptor of people who experience one gender, a single gender. It's a singular gender, meaning it's the only gender one experiences.[1] It can be static or fluid. It is the opposite of multigender or plurigender.
A genderfluid or genderflux person may use the term monogender if they only experience one gender identity at a time. For that experience, genderfluid people may use the term monogenderfluid as well.
