Neutral, Gender Neutral, or Gender-Neutral is a term that can be used as an identity on its own, as a gender quality, as an adjective to one's gender, or as a description of one's presentation.

On its own, neutral typically refers to genders that are not male or masculine, not female or feminine, and are not anything in between or derived from these. It is often used interchangeably with unaligned or abinary, and sometimes with epicene.

As a gender quality, neutral is described as one's gender having masculinity, femininity, positivity, negativity, and all other gender qualities balance each other out or neutralize each other.

As an adjective to one's gender, neutral refers to the act of having or showing qualities that are not associated with masculinity or femininity, or anything in between.

As a presentation, neutral is described as a set of behaviors, presentations, and roles not culturally associated with being a male, nor a female.

Genders that are associated with neutrality include but are not limited to neutrois, stellarian, agender, genderless, gendernull, null, and gendervoid.
