Transmian is a term used to describe someone who is transgender and miaspec. It is similar to transmasculine, even sometimes being simultaneous, but transmasculinity itself is not inherently miaspec. Not all transmasculine individuals are miaspec, yet vast majority of them are. This term is often used to describe trans men more with more specification, allowing transmasculine to be used with a less of a gendered connotation. Transmian specifically describes a transgender and male gender, while transmasculine broadly describes a transgender and masculine gender. It is meant to be used to describe the gender of a fiaspec individual, typically AFAB, who is transitioning to manhood.
Transmianity technically falls under the transmin or transmasculine umbrella.

- Transminic: Transgender, mingender. Refers to anyone whose gender is MIN and transgender.
- transmasculine: Transgender, masculine. Refers to anyone whose gender or presentation is masculine and transgender.
- Transmian: Transgender, miaspec. Refers to anyone whose gender is male and transgender.
Transfeminity earned the reputation for being synonymous with trans womanhood because it is commonly shortened to 'transfem,' the 'fem' prefix giving people the impression that it stood for female. This then left the same impression on transmasculinity.
This identity is an effort to remove the gendered nuance from the term transmasculinity, spreading differentiation between masculinity and being a male. It's also important to note that MIN and MIA specifically refer to gender identity, while masculine can refer to either gender presentation and/or gender identity.
