Wifgender is a term for those that are women that are also binary, or people that are very close to being a binary woman. This term is not exclusive to cisgender individuals.
The equivalent for binary men is wergender.
Etymology[]
The term comes from the Middle English word wifman, which means the same thing as woman does now.[1]
History[]
The term was coined by Tumblr user acro-pluris on August 21, 2018. However, there was no flag included in the coining post.[1]
