Xevetrine is a gender descriptor like "masculine", "feminine", "neutral", etc that is similar to outherine but is separate from it in the fact that its gendered qualities are completely separate from anything like what humans perceive as "gender". A xevetrine individual may feel as if their gender functions differently for them or is a separate category in their mind than it would be for non-xevetrine people. This is most often used by alterhumans, nonhumans, or neurodivergent folks, however it can be used by anyone.
This could be interpreted in different ways depending on the individual. For example, someone who has xevetrine genders and non-xevetrine genders may feel as if their xevetrine genders are separate from and function differently than their xevetrine genders, as if their xevetrinity and other genders occupy entirely separate categories or spaces in their mind, in a way that can only be loosely defined as "gender" as humans perceive it.
Xevetrine individuals may describe their gender, presentation, or self using atypical terms (such as "catlike" or "silly" instead of "handsome" or "pretty", "voidling" or "entity" instead of "boy" or "girl", etc), but they do not have to.
A xevetrine individual could also see "typical" genders as xevetrine genders, but they do not have to. For example a xevetrine man may relate to being a man, but feel as though it functions differently from how most others are men due to being alterhuman, nonhuman, neurodivergent, or any other reason. They may also feel as if their gender is simply xevetrine/xevetrael, or has its own xevetrine qualities.
The xevetrine form of masculine/feminine/neutral/etc is xevetrine. The xevetrine form of male/female/nonbinary/etc is xevetrael. The xevetrine form of boy/girl/enby is xevi, xevling, or xev (or a term specific to the individual). The xevetrine form of man/woman/enban/etc is xevtrin or xevin (or a term specific to the individual).
The prefix for xevetrine genders is "xev-" or "xeve-", and the suffix is "-vetrine", "-evetrine", "-trine", or "-etrine".
